Music Lessons in Your School

The Rainbow Music School consists of 2 teachers, multi instrumentalists Carla and Becky. They both teach Piano/Keyboard, Ukulele, Guitar and Singing! (Also drums if you have them at your school!)

They started The Rainbow Music School after they realised they had a mutual love of modern music and teaching in a fun and engaging way!

Both Carla and Becky have taught for over 10 years and in more than 50 Queensland schools through different companies and privately.

The Rainbow Music School  offers a parent funded instrumental music program to the school. We come fully equipped into your school every week with instruments including keyboards, guitars, ukuleles, vocal mics and speaker if needed - so you don't have to have anything available at your school except a room to teach from, we can bring everything we need to teach the lessons.

We have our own curriculum written by us - it's fun, engaging and written for schools.

Lessons for primary school students are 20 minutes long and we also offer the option of lessons for two students to make it affordable for more families.

Lessons for high school students can be 20 or 30 minutes long and we also offer the option of lessons for two students to make it affordable for more families.

All communication to parents is handled by us to save time for your office, including payments, bookings, questions, curriculum purchases and reports.

20 minute lesson - $25 per lesson (charged per term or remainder of term)

30 minute lesson - $35 per lesson (charged per term or remainder of term)

The Steps to Set Up in Your School

Firstly to make sure we are the right fit for your school we'd love to come in for a meeting to discuss all the logistics. During this meeting we can discuss what instruments you'd like us to teach, teaching location, what equipment you'd like us to provide, timetable options for when we start and anything else you'd like to discuss.

We can then come into your school assemblies to talk about our lessons and provide leaflets to take home!

(Or virtual ones if you want to be paperless!)

This is always the best way as we talk to the students directly and we only need a few minutes of time in assembly - other options are available though if this doesn't suit the school.

Parents will get in touch with us directly and once we have agreed a time slot with you we will contact the parents with the booking options and open the booking calendar.

We will sort out the bookings and payments directly with them, we will also liaise with parents directly about student progress. We take care of all these aspects of the lessons to make sure  your office staff don't have to!

Once this is done we will come in and start lessons!
